OUR STORY

As brothers growing up in South Africa we both fully pursued our intellectual and artistic interests at the University of Cape Town: Gavin in Psychology and Philosophy, and Davy in Linguistics and Computer Science.

 

However software has always been our professional passion, and over the last thirty years we have developed applications predominantly used in the retail industry.

 

In 2003, we co-founded Pyramid Merchandising Software, known for its planning and analytics solutions, currently used by retailers globally. Our expertise in architectural patterns and data structures aligns seamlessly with the dynamic field of data science.

 

We're enthusiastic about the transformative impact of generative AI on retail planning culture and are actively exploring its integration into our products.

EVA is a generative AI coach and mentor that guides retail planners, from absolute beginners to the most advanced, to use sophisticated decision intelligence, backed by in-depth retail planning and data analytics in a unique co-operative dialogue.
